At The Little Sunshine Academy of Virginia Beach, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and peaceful environment where children feel secure, supported, and valued each day. We are committed to caring for our littles through consistent routines, gentle guidance, and meaningful connections—while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in a loving, calm, and secure environment.
We are an infant, toddler, and preschool program serving children ages 0–6. We strive to nurture each child’s unique qualities, support families through strong, trusting relationships, and create an environment that encourages growth, development, and community.
Our center is dedicated to fostering a welcoming space where both children and families feel at home, supported, and inspired to thrive.
Education

Our unique curriculum emphasizes independence, exploration, and hands-on learning. We also prioritize strong connections between home, school, and the world around us—creating a well-rounded foundation for each child’s growth and development.
Infant Program
Infant Program (0–18 Months)
Our infant program focuses on creating a warm, responsive environment where babies feel secure, loved, and cared for. During these important early months, children learn through sensory experiences, movement, and meaningful interactions with trusted caregivers.
Toddler Program
Toddler Program (18 Months–3 Years)
Toddlers are naturally curious and eager to explore the world around them. Our toddler program provides opportunities for hands-on learning, independence, and skill-building while fostering confidence and a sense of belonging.
Pre School Program
Preschool Program (3–5 Years)
Our preschool program prepares children for kindergarten and beyond by combining hands-on learning, purposeful play, and meaningful exploration. Children in our program are encouraged to think independently, ask questions, and develop confidence in their abilities.
